Rhodonite Elephant Pendant

This elephant shaped pendant has gold accented details that are either gold tone or gold plated, I have not tested them to be sure. The stone is rhodonite that the elephant is carved out of. The stone pendant measures 37.29mm tall, 23.20mm wide, 5.84mm thick. This pendant weighs 10.61 grams. Rhodonite is manganese silicate mineral with an opaque transparency. Rhodonite comes in shades that vary from pale pink to deep red. It has a vitreous luster and is composed of other minerals such as calcite, iron, and magnesium. It has a triclinic crystal system and occurs in ores or as rounded crystals.
