Rialto New York silk embroidered bag with platic overlay and bakelite handle

This is a very cool vintage bag that needs restoration. It needs a deep clean, Im not sure how to appropriately do that. The interior has a tacky substance that needs to be cleaned and the exterior is just dirty. The bag is stiff because of the overlay of plastic. The plastic itself has not cracks or holes and the interior silk & embroidery looks great. The handle is cool and in great shape.
