Richard K Tsao Ruched Silk Mauve Handwoven Cocoon Jacket (M)

Size: M (Sleeves: 23", Arm Pits: 15", Shoulders: 17", Length: 25") Ruched silk Cocoon jacket in mauve by Richard K. Tsao. Excellent condition, rarely worn. Fabric ruching (gathering) is sewn with elastic thread allowing it to stretch to fit multiple sizes. Made from yards of hand-woven Thai silk fabric shirred into a jacket with elastic thread on the ruching. The fabric catches and reflects light beautifully. Actual color is shown in last two images above. Tsao's signature Cocoon style allows one size to fit many shapes. This is from the Rubin Museum of Art in New York.
