Rick Owens S/S 22 Fogachine Spider-knit Banana Sweater

Another insane piece from “the Prince of Darkness.” This is a mohair iteration of the infamous Banana Sweater. Seen on the runway worn in multiple ways, the banana sweater is a fascinating feat of design. This version is en homage to the “psycho knits” that were produced years earlier and is composed of an erratic mohair fiber. As seen in pics, I snipped the material tag out of the sweater as it was uncomfortable and also stuck out of the piece in an awkward way when worn. It could easily be sewn back in if desired.
