The unique design provides adjustment to fit comfortably. Measures approximately 8.5 inches from clasp to bottom of the pendant. An extender chain can be put on as well to adjust the length. Why wire? I am someone with sensory issues and wearing jewelry can turn off someone like myself. The way Necklaces swing and tangle drives me bananas. Stretch bracelets leave you with the horrid pinching and hair pulling. With wire, I have created something unique, beautiful and comfortable. The Necklaces stay in place and provide a nice weight to them. The beads on the bracelet don't have room to pinch and give a bangle bracelet feel.
