I honestly did not notice this flaw when I received them in the mail, and did not see it until I was wearing them for the first (and only) time. I am parting with them because size 38 fits me better, not because of the flaw. Please look at the photos- you will see a dark mark across the left shoe below the buckle (fifth picture shows the flaw most clearly). I find this flaw to be relatively under the radar from afar or if not specifically looking for it- you can judge this looking at the other photos.
