So these are a "size 28" that are now a measured 33"?

@rawah_sky yes, a lot of denim (and clothing brands) use vanity sizing where the labeled size doesn’t actually equate to the actual measurement in inches. this is also raw denim which tends to stretch a bit. i think these originally measured close to 31” before being worn and washed.
