He comes from a family of silversmiths. . He began his career as an apprentice silversmith in 1985, working with his father and mother, the silversmith George Henry and Nusie Henry. After spending many years training and mastering his art, he founded his own business in 2005. Ronnie has been working with jewelry for over twenty three years and is known for his contemporary silver and gold designs using traditional patterns. Ronnie Henry was awarded 1st place at the 2007 Navajo Indian Market. His work has appeared in all the best known shows in the United States, including the Santa Fe Indian Market, the Heard Museum Guild Show in Phoenix, AZ, The Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial in Gallup, NM and others. He has won recognition through several high-profile prizes and honors. Recently in 2013 he was a winner in six categories, including Best in Category in the casting division at Gallup Ceremonial.
