I took a risk on these because they were right on the edge of my measurements, but unfortunately they didn’t fit over my calves. They are soft and gorgeous, and are basically as-new with no visible wear on the soles - you should totally get them! I am a true 8.5 and these fit a little tight on me if I was wearing anything more than a thin sock. If you want to wear warmer/thicker socks, I'd say they fit more like an 8.
