Rose Quartz Crystal and Bead Hoop Earrings Sterling Silver Plated Earwires

I made these rose quartz and bead hoop earrings. The shepherd's hook style earwires are sterling silver plated. The hoop is a pattern of natural rose quartz alternating with black faceted beads. The third picture shows the width to be approximately 1 1/4" wide, while the fourth picture shows the overall length to be 2" including the earwire hook. The pair of earrings weigh a combined 0.5 ounces. An interesting fact about rose quartz is that it was first crafted into jewelry around 800 - 600 BC first by the Assyrians then by Ancient Egyptians, Ancient Greeks, and the Romans. Many early cultures used rose quartz as a powerful talisman and by medical practitioners in their healing potions. Even today some still believe in healing crystals. Rose quartz is considered to balance chakras, and emotional health and release emotional blockages.
