Your stone looks more like a Tanzanite or Amethyst stone.
Alexandrite stones are greenish color that changes to purplish color.

@shenny6 if you put it in the sun it's definitely a purplish blue color I'm not sure it turns yellow I don't wear it currently it's sitting in the box so I'm not exactly sure but it does have many colors in it
