At the turn of the 20th century, Roseville Pottery took a deep dive into real art pottery. They named their art pottery section Rozane, combining "Roseville" and "Zanesville", the illustrious seats of Ohio pottery. Blockbuster lines such as Cremo and Della Robbia began right here. Here is a worthy piece of Tinted Ivory Floral from 1917, textured and covered in soft red, blue, yellow, and purple flowers. What an incredible truly antique feast for the senses. She measures 3 inches across the opening. There is a distinct glaze craze line moving from a leaf over the rim and a tiny flake next to that. There are no cracks or repairs, only beautiful crazing and the aging of 100 years. It is considered important to have a piece of Rozane in your collection.
