@snowglobe80 great question, I’m thinking maybe that is it. I am typically an 8-10 in jeans/pants so a M/L in snow gear. These are a labeled as a Fr 40, EU 38 if that helps. I would say if you’re typically a S/M in snow gear these would fit well.
I am 5’ 6” and about 155lbs. The legs, length/height fit well. I’m just not able to zip them past my hips
