Royal Albert Cup

This beautiful vintage Royal Albert tea cup and saucer set was made in England over the period from 1970 to 1979 years. The set is pale teal blue and white in color with hand painted gold leaves. Both pieces are marked on the underside bases with a Royal Albert crown stamp and the words, "Royal Albert, Bone China, England". The set hasn't been used, it is in excellent condition without chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. The saucer has minor scratches at its center where the cup rests, and slight wear on the gold trim encircling the center. The cup doesn't have any scratches or gold loss. The round saucer flares upwards slightly from a smaller round base, with a top diameter of 5-1/2" and an underside base diameter of about 2-7/8". The cup itself is 2-1/4" in height, with a top opening diameter of around 3-7/8" and 1-3/4" for the base; the greatest width from the outside of the curved handle to the opposite side is 4-3/4". The set will be shipped securely wrapped with a lot of bubble wrap, packed in a box enclosed within another larger box.
