Meakin pottery company located in Hanley, England. The Meakin company was established in 1851 and closed in 2005. This set has a nice weight and a thick glossy finish with a scalloped edge, decorated with blue flowers and leaves on a white background. No cracks No chips - minor utensil marks. The lovely blue piece will set the mood for an elegant dining experience. Currently, I have more pieces in this pattern. I have serving pieces and more plates.
