Royston Turquoise Sterling Silver Pendant by Navajo Artist Paul Livingston

Vintage 925 sterling silver pendant by Navajo silversmith Paul Livingston. The approximately 1” x 1 5/8” pendant (not including bale) has a approximately 5/8” x 7/8” Royston turquoise cabochon. Together with its bale, the pendant has a total length of 2 1/4”. Rare piece includes 4 silver stars, two on each side of the cabochon. This piece weighs about 20.7 grams (weight is approximate). This piece has the patina and wear you would expect of vintage jewelry. Hallmark on the back: “Paul Livingston” Paul Livingston was born in 1954 and has spent his entire life on the Navajo Church Rock Reservation, where he grew up watching with fascination as his silversmith Uncle crafted raw metal and stone into beautiful jewelry. Through trial and error and a great deal of help from his Uncle, Paul became an accomplished young jewelry maker. By the time he was twenty-two he was ready to launch himself full time into silversmithing.
