I love the metal work on this ring, WOW! The design looks very French. If you know anything about casting, the delicate work done on the boost is VERY difficult to do and is done purely for beauty rather than practicality. The band is sterling silver stamped The ruby is around 4 Carats and is surrounded by diamonds. I don't know if the diamonds are earth mined or lab made because I purchased it on eBay long ago.
