Ruby Z Black and White Armadillo Brooch

Unfortunately this armidillo has a broken and glued tale. It also appera that the brooch was glued with hot glue. The origin of this little guy is pretty cool. The original company was called Parrot Pearls and was founded in 1975 in San Francisco. Parrot Pearls split off in the 1980's  into Ruby Z, owned by two of the original founders of PP, Bean Finneran and Candace Loheed. The Ruby Z were never mass produced These were artisan companies with hand finished products.
