Midcentury pewter brooch with delicate floral motif of tulips or lily of the valley. Measures Width: 1 and 1/8 inches (just under 1.25 inches) Length: 1 and 3/8 inches (just under 1.5 inches) Brushed pewter with delicate flowers. Rune Tennesmed was a 20th century Swedish designer who worked primarily in pewter. He changed his birth name of Rune Carlsson to Tennesmed (Swedish for pewtersmith) to reflect his profession. The company, Rune Tennesmed, is now run by the third generation and is still producing fine pewter jewelry and giftware. Swedish designer Rune Tennesmed worked for Svenskt Tenn which was an interior design co. located on Strandvagen in Stockholm Sweden. Please reach out with questions before purchasing!
