These pull-on slack slacks have a tapered leg (pic shows about 8 1/2 inches across one side with a small slide slit at the bottom. I'm 5'9" and these hit below ankle length and look great with heels! They are the PERFECT match for the black blouse with magnolia blossoms listed in my closet, they were a set from a subscription clothing by mail site that used to be my "Fix" ;-) The fabric is substantial and there are no functional pockets.
