*SALE $10 OFF!* Was $55 They definitely do not make them like they used to. These are heavy and old, extremely durable and rugged. Modern staplers jam easily and can barely survive a fall onto the floor from a desk. One of these (the darker one) is close to 40 years old, and the other is about 30 - I bought these vintage items myself in the 1990s, used them in my office, and just found them in a box this weekend (wait until you see the listing for the vintage Texas Instruments adding machine I'll be adding next!). If you are into collecting vintage hard goods, or perhaps in need an office-battle item for your desk in case of donut-stealing office interlopers, the classic, nearly-as-heavy-as-a-hammer old-school Swingline stapler is hard to beat. Both work fine. I'll throw in a couple boxes of staples, too. Who knows what else is in that ancient box? I closed the company these were used for in the late 1990s, and everything went into storage.
