SALE Mid Century Beret Style Hat Olive Green Velvet Black Seed Beads

SALE Interesting mid century beret style hat. In olive green velvet it is decorated with designs of tiny black seed beads. In addition, scattered clear rhinestones appear throughout. At the very top is a velvet tube standing tall (see condition below). The construction is gored Ruth McCulloch designed and sold this at the North Shore Hotel in Evanston IL. We have encountered other of her designs indicating she created in the northern Illinois Chicago and suburb areas. This is a deaccession item from a small midwestern museum. Size: 11" side to side and front to back; 21" inner band circumference. Condition: NOTE--the tube at the very top is separating from the hat. UPON REQUEST--we will repair this by tacking it to the hat--we will use either green or black thread. The repair will show as tacked stitches. Also, the inner ribbon band needs to be re-tacked in places. Price reflects condition #10471b
