Oh my, i do luvs me all uggies-wear head to toesies but i gotta stop acting like chicken little and plucking up all the rain-gear everywhere as soon as there’s a plop of H2Osie on my nosie! didnt even get the chance to break this in so it hung out like a non-elf on a shelf while i pecked thru other drip-dry options to keep me from meeeeeeeltin’ but still collecting compliments on my fab find; now it’s urs to score & store but hopefully get out & explore! minor black marks & tiny hole - see pix!

you_label_whore what made the black marks and have you tried to clean or have it cleaned?

ruskychick @you_label_whore @you_label_whore hey there, thanx for asking ;) i’m not sure what made the marks, i thought it might be from hanging next to black jackets in the closet. i never got much of a chance to wear it, so it was just hanging for a while and then when i decided to re-posh it i noticed the marks. i didn’t try removing them, but now that u mention it, i can definitely try simple, natural removal options and see if i can get them off ;)

ruskychick @you_label_whore and just in case i can’t remove them, they really are very small and hardly noticeable esp since the jacket is opaque and will pick up the color of whatever u wear underneath which shows thru! will keep u posted post cleaning effort! 🤞🏻🙏🏻👍

ruskychick @you_label_whore okey dokey, did a little cleaning attempt with first a 1:1 water/rubbing alcohol spritz in case these spots were ink-based, then a basic baking soda and dawn dish soap combo which is my go to laundry-day solution for any number of stains and never not spotless, but no go here so while it was wet and drying i got a magnifying glass and these look like itty bitty pieces of possibly either black fabric or fur (like from ugg boots)…

ruskychick @you_label_whore so now i’m starting to think it may be a manufacturing defect like transfer in their factory from the boot fur or other shearling products they made, even the ribbons around the hood and hem of the jacket itself which are black fabric…they are super fine and i’d be happy to add some additional close-ups so u can see what i mean if it helps ;)
