So this person taught me exactly why transactions should not be done outside Poshmark. So I figured to warn you all as I had to learn the hard way, maybe I could save someone else. I sent this woman $200 for a purse that I never got. She will give detailed information and make everything seem very believable. She blocked me as soon as she got the money. Do NOT make the same mistake I did. Please share to save someone some money and frustration.

jshopmycloset Sorry this happened to you..I almost got tempted too to do outside Posh when I listed my Chanel. But I had to back out and decided not to sell outside Posh coz I heard a lot of horror story. And it scares me a lot!

hmohare @jshopmycloset omg I read that! On the pink Chanel bag you have. But it’s sad because there can be better deals made outside posh with honest people; because posh takes so much once the price gets high enough. So ridiculous.

jshopmycloset @hmohare I know..that's the only downside. The 20% really sucks! But on the other hand, Posh protects both the seller and the buyer in case of return or cancellation and provides authentication service as well for the luxury items

hmohare @jshopmycloset oh yes! They are really good about working with the lux stuff. I guess the price is pretty much worth the fact they make sure you get what you’re paying for.

hmohare @jshopmycloset even then, this lady had some good feedbacks but I assume it was on cheaper items she could’ve sold through posh and “sold” her nicer items outside of posh

jbear @jshopmycloset I unfortunately will not sell much over $100 on posh. I used to adore this platform. It’s great for what you can afford to lose. I have fought my share of legit battles, where posh always had my back. I religiously film and take pics of Everything. I would never put a chanel on here - just my opinion tho.

jbear Ladies be safe! Xo I don’t shout it but I’m an ambassador since mid 2012 and have seen my share and canceled shady dealings before the protections offered are in place. I have not had any issues sticking with the under $100 gig 👍🏽❤️

ravishingrabbit @hmohare So sorry this happened to you. I used to only buy on posh. Just recently, I started selling. However, I have come across MANY bad people. For instance, @burnsboutique cancelled my order & blocked me with ZERO explanation. I should've reported her for fraud! Besides her, others too have blocked me, for no reason. I think people like that are absolute embarrassments to Poshmark.
