To my amazing poshmark sellers, Do not sell to this person @/jsmithla DO NOT SHIP your item(s) to this address: 14930 Moorpark St. Apt 208 Sherman Oaks, CA 91403-2575 You will be scammed!! She will do the following: 1. She will damage your item to get a return approved and then return a box of trash or nothing at all. 2. She will say you sent the wrong item to get a return approved and then return a box of trash or nothing at all. There are at least 5 sellers she has taken advantage of and poshmark has done nothing to stop her. If anything they are allowing it to happen. This is my second post about it because I believe others should know what is going on. I hope that some are able to see this before it’s deleted and taken down my poshmark.

lipstickstains2 @closetchic1 I’m sorry this is happening to you too! I had another more detailed post about her but poshmark keeps deleting them 😤 I am in contact with 4 other sellers who are getting scammed by her too!

lipstickstains2 @closetchic1 poshmark is still ruling in her favor for the orders and returns! Do they really think this many sellers are sending damaged items and wrong items? It’s crazy.

closetchic1 @lipstickstains2 i know for a fact that my item had a personal note included and three tags (it was brand new). She showed the exact same tag that was on the item i sent on the item she claims I sent in error. Why is poshmark not asking her to produce the note or the other tags when clearly it is the same one. She claims I sent her a Rebecca Taylor dress incorrectly. I don’t own this brand nor is it in my closet. Outrageous and I am out 95 dollars!

closetchic1 @lipstickstains2 is there a way to get all the sellers together on a thread with poshmark about this buyer? There may be power in collective voices.

lipstickstains2 @closetchic1 yeah I did that but poshmark keeps deleting my posts! It’s really ridiculous because I feel like they are protecting her or something.

closetchic1 @lipstickstains2 o sent a long complaint email to their support center. Let’s see if they respond to me. If not, I’m going viral!

lipstickstains2 @closetchic1 I sent multiple emails with actual questions because I just couldn’t understand what happened and how they accepted the return when I provided pictures and proof. Like what was the point of opening a case when the seller is completely ignored. They NEVER replied to me. And then my case automatically closed after 3 days. I still want an explanation!! It’s really driving me crazy.

closetchic1 @lipstickstains2 I hear you. I can’t imagine what o will get back , if anything .. makes me seriously question if I will continue to do business with Poshmark. If I owned the dress she claims I sent then it would be on my virtual closet, right?

lipstickstains2 @closetchic1 I noticed she’s still on Poshmark. When she purchased from me she only had 2 reviews given. But now it’s 66 reviews. It looks like she left all the notes within the last couple days. They were all recently given. And if you look at the items, they are all really cheap purchase around $9. My item was $63. I’m assuming you guys had more expensive items too? Because I think she decided to scam the sellers with the more expensive items she bought.

kailikea808 @danaemarie Poshmark approved her return today even though I sent copies of this post and pointed out that it looks like this buyer has a track record of doing this. I don’t understand how she can do this so many times. How has her account not been flagged???

lipstickstains2
lipstickstains2 @danaemarie I think she has bought a lot of stuff on poshmark. She doesn’t complain about her cheap purchases of like $7 or anything under $20 ish. She opens a claim when the order is more expensive and she keeps the item and sends you back actual garbage. And then she also gets a refund!

closetchic1 @kailikea808 hello! I got back a ridiculous dress with my exact tags on them with a cut cord. I can’t understand how Poshmark doesn’t see that she took the tag from my item and put it on another. I have pictures of my original item with the tags on it. Sadly, I have decided that due to the unprofessional and unethical behavior of the seller and Poshmark that I am getting off the platform. This is my last week as a seller. It’s just too stressful to sell not knowing if I am going to get scammed.

kailikea808 @closetchic1 That is so frustrating, especially since you had photos as well! I don’t blame you for leaving the platform, I am thinking about it as well. I may just leave what I have and not list anything new. I have been selling for almost a decade and have been super lucky that I never encountered a scammer until now. She is literally stealing repeatedly and it is a shame that Poshmark is allowing her to do so.

swimchick89
swimchick89 She tried to scam me too! She first sent several offers for ridiculously low prices and ended up buying the item full price ($45). She took too long to return the item so Poshmark refunded me. Then she tried reaching out telling Poshmark usps lost her item and self scanned it in herself and I got an old ugly sweater and took pics as I opened it and sent them to Poshmark. Anyone who gets scammed should reach out to USPS and ask for the weight of the items so Poshmark can see they don’t match!

closetchic1 @swimchick89 she is awful! I am getting off the Poshmark platform as of September 3rd because of this experience. She is a scammer. She is dishonest. I am out $95 USD and Poshmark didn’t even acknowledge the scam despite concrete proof. I don’t know how liars and cheaters survive in the world.

bmacgirl Happened to me and she could not keep her lies straight she did return a shirt back to me not the one I sent her though. She said the tags were cut of shirt. I reported it to Posh and pointed out the lies that were obvious and Pictures of the garment I sent and what I got back as well as contradictions of her statements. POSH did not respond at all! 😞
