SHINY GOLD BUTTERFLY Vintage 1950s Butterfly Print Circle Skirt

This skirt would make a wonderful Halloween costume or fancy dress wear! Not tags on this gorgeous skirt, but it strongly resembles other 50s skirts by Gay Gibson that I have found online, including same print and fabric. Authentic and vintage. Hope to find a good home for it! Color scheme: Ivory backdrop, with print of gold flowers and pink, black and shiny gold butterflies Fabric is stiff, supporting the full circle sweep since it doesn't go flat. Based on other indicators it is likely a blend of nylon, cotton, and acetate specially developed in the 50s. I did not try to launder the skirt or wash it. There are a handful of spots where there is some yellowing, see photos. Inside of the skirt are some spots that are not visible from outside, visible in a photo. There is only one small hole in the skirt, which is pictured in photos. Overall condition seems very good for age. Length is 28" Waist is 13" long on one side (so 26" total) Size 4 is a guess based on waist size! BONUS: When I obtained this skirt it came with an ivory "rope" style yarn belt with a gold clasp. Belt is 43" total and I believe it is vintage as well! Please reach out with any questions on this authentic vintage skirt!
