THIS STUNNING 100% SILK (POLYESTER LINING) FULL-LENGTH PARTY/BALL/PROM GOWN BY MONTAGE BY MON CHERI, SIZE 4, is gently pre-owned, in near-perfect condition, free of defects or damage, with no signs of wear. In classic fit-and-flare styling, it consists of a thin-strapped surplice (crossover) bodice with a built-in bra joined to a moderately flaring full-length skirt. The bodice has deep diagonal pleating in the upper part, horizontal pleating below that (picture 9), and is embellished with light-catching sequins. The skirt has a decorative attached ruffle in front with elegant draping created by a gather at the bodice seam on the left front side (picture #10). It closes with a clasp and zipper in back. The color is a shade of purple tending toward red; I believe plum is the correct designation for that. The 100% silk outer shell is semi sheer, and it's fully lined in glossy 100% polyester plum-colored fabric. The stated size is 4, but prospective buyers are encouraged to compare the measurements with those of a dress that they know fits well prior to purchase. Measurements are: chest, pit to pit 15.25"; waist 13.5"; hemline 38"; length (in back, neckline to hem) 52". If you like the gown but not the price, don’t despair, I’m willing to negotiate.
