erica_erica @narlygirl Hi! I am at this listing because I have a similar bag I want to sell, but I want to make sure mine is authentic first. I see you have a picture of serial number for your bag. Would you mind telling me where on the bag I should look for this? Everything is the same from what I can tell on my bag, except mine is brown fabric. I also have a Louis Vuitton tag that came with it. Thank you so much!! :)

narlygirl @erica_erica the datecode is inside one of the pockets near the opening. It's stamped so very hard to see. Authentic ones have a dark mustard color suede lining. If yours is brown then most likely it's not autentic. Also LVs don't come with a tag...especially ones that are connected to the purse. Post pics on your closet and I can take a look to be sure.

erica_erica @narlygirl thank you so much for your help and I will use your advice in the future! Ultimately, I decided not to sell it because I believe the handles are different from your purse and others that are similar. I looked and looked but couldn't find a serial number. I would feel terrible selling a bag that is not authentic, so I decided not to risk it. I had picked up the bag second-hand so I can't be certain it is legitimate.
