narlygirl @hotsox28 I don't mind trading...but didn't see anything in your closet that I like that is available. I wanted another purse. If you have anything that you don't have posted...but would be a good item to trade...just let me know.

narlygirl @shineeday Hey girl...I wrote a "warning" on the LV purse that you recently purchased. The LV Sistina Damier. You wanted the GM...but I did my research before you purchased it and it's not the GM size. I tried to be nice and just correct things but the seller took it the wrong way.

narlygirl @shineeday Oh...and another warning...after further research...I don't think the purse is Authentic. Although...you're gonna be protected by Posh because it will go thru their concierge for verification. I just don't want you money to get stuck. If you look search for Sistina in Yoogis Closet and Ebay site...you will see the difference between the PM, MM and GM. This is where I compare the LVs that I purchase here in Posh...just to be sure.

narlygirl @shineeday The good thing with LVs is the way the pattern in their canvas is set is the same for every type of purse. If you see the monogram and damier type of canvas...they are the set the same way for the same style of purse. If you see a purse here that the buyer claims to be authentic...but it doesn't match the canvas on a real authentic one...then that's a red flag. Ask for the pic of the Made In Stamp and the Date Code.

narlygirl @shineeday Okay...I think I made my point now. The buyer blocked me so I can't comment on her listing anymore. Hope you see this before the purse gets shipped. Just protecting fellow poshers here. I got scammed once. Don't want it to happen to anybody else.

narlygirl @shineeday Oh...and I've sold and bought authentic LVs here at Posh so I know what I'm talking about. Like I said...research is the key. Especially for the purses that are priced too good to be true. It's either it's authentic and they just don't know exactly how much it's worth...or they know it's not authentic and they just want to get it out of their hands asap. Good luck...and have a nice day!!!

narlygirl @destinybaby100 You are new to Poshmark so let me just educate you. If the buyer is not happy with the purchase (in this case, she's expecting a GM and you sent a PM), she can cancel the purchase and report it to Posh...and you won't get your money, she will return the purse and she will get her money back. And since your item was purchased for more than $500...it will go thru Posh concierge for Authenticity Verification.

narlygirl @shineeday No worries girl!! Glad to help. You're from chicago (accdg to ur profile)...so I'm more obliged to help...from the area too. Hope you get it all settled. You're new to this site and she's new too. You just need to be careful. There is a lot of scammers lurking around. So if I potentially see one...I call them out and challenge them. Again...good luck!!!

shineeday I am sick to my stomach. Research is paramount. In hindsight I just assumed the items on PM were authentic. Upon closer inspection and research...the bag is a combination of the GM (no snaps for the zipper on the side which the PM has) and the PM (with pleats in the back which the GM doesn't). Also the price I paid is less than half of what they are selling for on ebay. I will see what PM says before I react. My sister will be disappointed though. THANKS AGAIN

narlygirl @shineeday Unfortunately not everything being sold here is authentic. Good thin that Posh has this new thing where they verify things if they are authentic or not if you paid above $500...which I think she doesn't know. Just ask her to cancel the order...given that she hasn't shipped yet. If it's not authentic...posh will give it back to her and probably kick her out.

narlygirl @shineeday That's why when I asked for more pics...she doesn't provide me some...cuz I asked her the right parts to ask to know if it's authentic or not. Ask her for the date code and a close up if the made in stamp. You can tell a lot from those 2 pics. Also the leather seems not real from afar...have weird wrinkles.

narlygirl @hectorhino I see that you're trying to trade for an LV purse. I made a comment on it asking for its authenticity. I want to call her out but don't want to be rude. I own and sold a couple of LVs so I am kinda familiar with things to look for to know if it's a red flag for non authentic. The Made In Stamp is really off. Look at some of my authentic LVs here for comparison. Or look it up online.

narlygirl @hectorhino The stitches on the inside where she showed the date code is bad too. Look up the name of the bag online so you'll see what the inside is supposed to look like and where the date code is located. Just don't want a fellow posher to think she's getting an authentic piece but jn fact she might not. Do your research before making a trade. Trades are a bit dangerous. Even though you return the item...you'll only get $3 back. Good luck!!!

hectorhino @narlygirl ty! I'm new to posh & yes would hate to get something that's not authentic I noticed the stitching as well & when I as asked she was hesitant..again ty for the heads up & will definitely be more careful before trading

narlygirl @heavenlynomad Glad to help!! We need to look out for each other here. You have no idea how many scammers lurk around. Don't get me wrong...i still love this site and have earned a couple of friends. You just need to be smart and be cautious. Especially if the prices are too good to be true.

narlygirl @heavenlynomad Ooops...wrong tag. Sorry 😳

narlygirl @hectorhino See comments above...I tagged the wrong person...LOL!!! 👆👆👆 Btw...I checked Ebay...and her purse is definitely NOT authentic. The made in stamp is diff, the code is stamped on a tag (not a d ring) and the monogram is not even lined up. Okay...I've done my job. Now off to get some coffee 😉
