Freebird Belladonna boots in beige size 7. have been worn twice indoors. Tongue stitched by professional cobbler to prevent from sliding to the side. there are spots of color alteration where I tried shoe glue first, but these are hidden by the straps.

jeanierandall Just to clarify… you had the tongue stitched to prevent from sliding ? Then, if buckles were adjusted “tighter”, then, tongue cannot move? Just making sure I am understanding what you are saying about the tongue stitching. ??

aimeemiller999 @jeanierandall the the top of the boot is above the ankle, this style seemed to have a design flaw that caused the tongue of the boot to slide all the way sideways due to walking and bending your ankle (it is not attached to the boot at all except at the toe) the buckles could be adjusted tighter but it could probably cause bunching if adjusted alot..

jeanierandall @aimeemiller999 so you did have some custom stitching done at the top of the tongue/boot area? Just trying to make sure I understand if any “after market” stitching was done. Thank you for your reply.

aimeemiller999 @jeanierandall I took them to a cobbler and had him stitch the inside of the tongue to the inside of the boot at the top
