somer2332 @arsmicurn If you need ANY help with your Jams, please feel free to reach out to me!! I have been through it!! I know all the ins & outs, lol. But how much do you love Shamrockin? I know it probably took a while for your first set, but it'll get a lot easier the more you do it. I'm really not hand eye coordinated so you can trust that!

arsmicurn Love them!! So much fun. I just need to take the time and trim them properly and get a good fit....as they say practice makes perfect! Have a cuticle pusher, file, scissors, blow dryer. Any other recommendations? I've watched the video and followed instructions but think I just need practice. @somer2332

somer2332 @arsmicurn I recommend a few things...a cuticle trimmer for later when you are better at putting your jams on and getting them closer to your cuticle but you might have over cut and it's already on your finger - a cuticle trimmer will snip the extra off and give you a close application without having to start over. The mini heater from Jamberry will make a HUGE difference putting them on especially if you're doing the Baggie method which I highly recommend. It shink wraps the wrap to your nail. Also a smoothing base coat to help get a good application, that really helped me & a number of people I know. Jamberry makes a good one, but there are tons of others. But if you are having a hard time keeping them on for some reason try Orly Bonder Rubberized base coat. And lastly a crystal nail file will help make the edges nice and smooth after you're done with your other nail file. I recommend applying them all to one hand using cuticle scissors (or other small scissors) to trim 95% of the extra off, then nail file the extra off, then go over with a crystals file to make sure there aren't any snags 😊 Sounds like a lot but it goes fast! And I recommend it that way so the adhesive has time to set as much as possible before you start tugging at them with the nail file. Does that make sense? I can get you any items you want/need, I'm a Jamberry rep, but I'm not pushy at all, or at least I try not to be! I just want to be helpful!!

arsmicurn Thanks for all of the advice! You definitely aren't pushy--very helpful. May need to get the heater from you. I also love the horse wraps so may need to order them ;) cuticle trimmer would be extremely helpful and same with a base coat! Will also look into a crystal nail file--don't think I've heard of that before! Thanks again. @somer2332

somer2332 @arsmicurn So relieved, I'm not pushy! I hate those type of direct sales people, or even Poshers for that matter! Oh I also just remembered another lil trick! If your tips start to lift mid wear, heat your tweezers on your flat iron and once they are hot, use that heat to seal down the opened edge with this new heat source and pressure that you put on it! You can get some high quality crystal nail files from Amazon or I can get s few for you from pretty cheap if you are willing to wait 😊

somer2332 Oh I'm so on the verge of getting Amazon Prime! I got my set from there...there is a nice set of Czech crystal files in a bunch of different colors and sizes. I got those, you may want others. I liked those bc they are not made in China and have no lead. Good luck this weekend. Hit me up if you need help! Google the Baggie method for your next application, and Google the Baseball method to see if you have curvy nails, and how to properly apply wraps to them. She explains it really good and if you don't have curvy nails, as she explains you can stop watching after 30 seconds!
