@cshorter01 no they’re not fully detachable.
The left side is attached. And the right side can unlatch to make the strap long (cross body) or to make the strap double over and be shorter (over the shoulder)

@cshorter01 although, if you want the straps permanently removed, you can easily snip off the leather strap....
