Originally purchased at Opening Ceremony in NYC. The NYC clothing company partnered with LGBTQ manga-inspired apparel brand MASSIVE for a new capsule collection during Pride month, ‘MASSIVE for Opening Ceremony,’ featuring some truly amazing artwork by manga artist Jiraiya. Featuring archival work by Jiraiya originally published for the GG Group, this T-shirt collage featuring a praying monk is designed by Terrell Davis. The two photorealist artists have been fans of each other from afar, but this is the first time they have collaborated together. The 3D universe created by Davis for Jiraiya's praying monk evokes a virtual Japanese reality with pink hues, tropical accents, and local currencies soft and hard.
