SOLD PURPLE HAZE Custom Vintage Fur Felt Ranch Hat

This size 7 1/4 (23”)vintage cowboy hat was rode hard and pretty beaten up…which is exactly what I want in a cowboy hat! The vintage condition with its moth holes and scuffs, is the ideal element to create a hat that is rich with character. I can promise that you alone will own this hat…because no two are ever alike. Each is reshaped by hand, dyed purple and rust and burned by hand…and I currently have the dyed hands to prove it! I sewed in an adjustable band, so it fits smaller sizes. The band is old bandanas, overlaid with buckskin. It has a wild turkey feather, a pheasant feather and a dyed seagull feather, finished off with an African free trade bead. This is a well made, fur felt vintage hat…one of a kind, and not mass produced like those polyester hats from China.
