The cuff at the calf adjusts from a circumference of 15.75 inch to 18 inch (with a gusset). The calf closure is "hook n loop" system (rhymes with nelcro). The condition of these shooting breeks is Excellent: no moth damage, no stains, no snags, no thread pulls, no odor.  Nice. The fabric is substantial, a moderate to heavy fabric. Enjoy These are also sometimes called Plus Fours, or knickers. Also good style for tweed rides, penny farthing or not.
