The waist has been taken in about 3 inches by a professional seamstress. It is designed to build an HOURGLASS figure, a SNATCHED waist, a lifted butt, and enough rooms for your hips. If the waist is too small at first, you can buy a faja extender (under $10 from Amazon) until your waist shrinks enough to fit it. I only wore this faja for a few hours while my other faja was washing due to the sleeves for about 2 weeks. Very light use. Received 5 star review for other garment I sold. Faja was always washed in cold water on delicate cycle using ALL free and clear and Lysol laundry sanitizer. Hung dry. Will ship within 24 hours of purchase.
