cathyfb Hi @cherdj I apologize for the delay, I have no idea why my notification didn't pop up. There are no stains inside or out. The only mark is on the bottom and very hard to see, it is a scratch to the brown leather. You can see it in the 4th photo where I show the bottom. You have to look for it. Had I not thoroughly inspected the bag, I wouldn't know it was there. Pleas let me know if you have any other questions. The leather is soft and smooth.
