💯 AUTHENTIC. Made in France 🇫🇷 1989-1991. Everyone knows Chanel was made better back then! Vtg bags have 24K Gold plating on the hardware, w/ beautiful lambskin leather. This Classic bag is an iconic staple. Great condition for its age but expect minor signs of wear. There are scratches & scuff marks to the leather/hardware, creasing, slight tarnishing on the strap, but it’s not noticeable unless up close. Comes w/ the serial # intact! Long strap so yes it can be worn as a crossbody

poshkat_ @susylaadelita Hi! Single strap is about 25” and double is 12-13”. I like shortening the single strap (by tying it underneath the flap) so that the bag can also be worn crossbody.

teekee30 Hi. I’m Interested in the bag... Are you sure the single strap is 25”? Usually it’s 16-17 “ in the medium of those years. Seems very long.

poshkat_ @teekee30 hi! It’s more like 22 inches single strap and 14” double. I looked up research online and couldn’t find any standard length for vintage bags. I compared to other vintage Chanels on reputable sites and there was a range/variation in strap length, but I did find many with lengths longer than 20 🙂. It’s definitely a sturdy heavier chain (prob cause of the gold plating) and easy to shorten

poshkat_ Okay I re-measured again to be sure, and it’s 25” like I originally thought. It is on the long side for sure, which is why you would need to wear it shortened underneath the strap

poshkat_ @teekee30 and when it’s shortened/tied, it falls at the length of the other girls in the pics with the same bag, so I suspect they’re wearing the chain shortened as well
