ndvoice @paigelener submitted an inquiry on the saumur a bag. Just wanted to explain, because I know posh doesn't tell you much. Posting here, so your other buyers don't see. Anyhow, I expected use, corner wear, patina and even some light cracking. But this bag needs some repair...and it will cost a couple hundred dollars or more. The strap that closes the bag is cracked all the way through (not surface cracks). The stitching on the strap is coming undone & will continue to unravel.

ndvoice @paigelener There's also some narly ink stains inside...but I can live with that. I'm more concerned with the issues that need repair. Requesting a reasonable partial refund to offset some of the needed repair costs. Thank you.

paigelener I have no problem taking 40 off otherwise tou can return it and i will give you all your money back i just bought it for 195 less than a week ago and its too big so im losing money as it is But if you want return it and tell me how to refund through posh or i can send u a check

ndvoice @paigelener thank you for understanding. $40 sounds reasonable. That brings my cost down to $135 and a $200 strap repair sounds a little less painful. The canvas is in amazing shape....so this bag could live forever with some mending. Posh will send you an email and you'll be able to offer a partial refund in response using buttons. Thanks again.
