sherryzawacki8 anyway.....daddy passed away one yr ago on November 17 2019 so mommy and I r still dealing with our loss...even though his spirit is with me often as I feel him but daddy was 81 yrs old and very sick CHF etc so he knew he was going home he gave me his Atocha coin pendant and thick chain to have. I've worn it everyday with pride

sherryzawacki8 my friend went last week to Jared's to pick up coin and she called me....devestated to break news to me....telling me they ruined daddy's coin she said obviously they had no idea how to clean it. we thought they would steam and polish it gently my friend said looks as though they put it in a clnr....maybe something equal to acid or whatever...cuz u cannot c any markings etc. I was shocked...pissed....devestated

sherryzawacki8 well thank y'all for listening. sorry again for space I took up complaining but I could use suggestions possibly and it wasn't just daddy's coin.....I also gave them mommy's coin from shipwreck Sea Cabin Crew from fleet in 1715 yr daddy had a jeweler add an emerald from shipwreck they found it on...to mommy's outer gold design that surrounds coin it is also ruined. I'm a mess. GN
