A RARE Robert Lee Morris/ RLM fine jewelry “Pillow Cross” collection 16” pendant/necklace. Most of RLM’s yellow gold pendants were large and made in gold-plated brass but this necklace is from his fine jewelry line and was crafted in solid 18kt yellow gold. The “Pillow Cross” pendant, with its puffed pillow shape and cut-out cross, is one of RLM’s iconic symbols. Produced circa 1999, this piece is brand new and was never worn. Robert Lee Morris is one of America’s first designer jewelers, and his sculptural, organic pieces were regularly featured in the pages of fashion magazines and at the collection shows of Calvin Klein and Donna Karan from the 1970s through 1990s.
