This is a very old European antique ring. It is Art Nouveau style with great detail I'm flowers on shanks and detailing around setting. The marks inside band show it's European, tell city of manufacture (I think it's Lion stamp for London), maker, 585 for 14k gold purity & date code letter for year made. 4 cabochon moonstones accented by 5 tiny round sapphires. One of a kind! Fits size 6-6.5 now but can easily remove 14k sizer (sell for scrap) to fit up to 8. May keep.✨

carajames @sweetladyb I KNOW!!! I listed it on eBay and I was going to take it down and keep it but a lady bought it. Lol. It's ok I know some people who are really into moonstones. I bought this because I KNOW it's a rare piece, but wore it once or twice. I have a sapphire/diamond ring and a star sapphire (Ceylon) that I wear more. This one I may regret selling but, as I said, it will hopefully go to someone who will wear it more😉💕

carajames Lol she did @sweetladyb. I'm sure you saw the Ostby Barton OES ring. It's a gem too, truly a collector's piece. Thing is I can't ever make the Star meetings so I haven't joined, and I won't wear the ring unless I'm an active Star.

carajames @sweetladyb that's just the jewelry I'm willing to part with. 😉 I have a problem. But, I know what I'm buying so I tend to find good deals. Pawn shops in my area in very rich areas are gold mines (pardon the pun).
