prettybg @ronid GM, nothing is wrong with the handles at all they are jus darker then the new leather piping and tag that I had repaired. Guess I shld change the caption since that wld make someone think something is wrong with them but it's not! Lol.. It's a speedy 25. Let me kno if u r interested! Thanks 😍

recyclerestyle $310 is a good price for a piece like this. With its aged leather, it'll only get darker, so many would probably want to replace the handles. That would cost around $140 so the price of the bag leaves that option still affordable :) If you don't mind me asking, did you oil the interior tabs? I'm just wondering why they are so dark.

No I didn't oil anything on the bag, when I took it LV to get the repairs I asked the lady that too but I also informed her that I had the bag sitting in direct sunlight 24/7 because I thought that wld help it brown faster! Lol, i love the dark look on lv's! she said he wasn't sure but that cld have been y but to answer ur question I honestly don't kno why

recyclerestyle Ohh okay! Yes, the sun could be it. I love a nice honey patina on my bags as well, so I use vegetable oil. If you take a small wash cloth and put some oil on it, slightly run into the leather. It'll get really dark when you are applying it, but it won't stay that dark. Allow to dry overnight and you'll see it slowly darken. That may be a good thing for the new buyer to do, to try and match the piping and tab to the handles. Of course it'll take at least 100 applications to reach that color, but at least it won't be white! :P
