One of William Morris' most commercially successful prints, the Strawberry Thief was inspired by birds that Morris witnessed stealing fruit from his cottage garden. It also represents one of his most intricate and painstaking printing techniques, which he spent years trialling and perfecting. We can relate. Never worn by me. I bought them secondhand a couple of years ago and just never reach for them. In perfect condition.
