This leather is smooth like the Florentine but it doesn't have to be babied. And, you can take it out in the rain. It's been treated. Just came in and it's stunning! melmayfield @beachinmoney hi! i’m a d & b flo gal, exclusively, but i’m curious about raleigh leather. does it have the same heft as flo vachetta leather? also, i’m assuming as it’s treated, it wont develop a patina like flo leather...esp. the shine that comes w/use of flo leather. i’ll be honest, though - i only carry mini/small satchels, so i’m unable to purchase this beauty; you just seem versed. =) anyway, in advance, thanks for any help you can offer! have a lovely tomrrw! ❣️

lkmbeachin @melmayfield I research everything. I have a terrible time making up my mind. I like flo too. This is surprisingly very nice. Not as smooth as flo but not pebbely like Pebble grain. I don't think it will patina it db would have said so. It's not as shinny as a flo but it's a good Raleigh. I ordered a wine and it was almost matte. This is a really pretty bag. But huge!!!

traceyb927 @lkmbeachin I am wondering about the color, is it like a royal blue? It's very hard to tell the color in photos sometimes. I love the dusty blue in the florentine, but, as you know, the same color can look entirely different in different leathers. ☺

lkmbeachin @4colby Hi, the only things I really want are large or regular size Barlow in Red or Blue, not light blue but the Marine or Ocean, pink, the hot pink but I don't think those size of Barlow come in a darker pink. I would also consider a small red flo satchel, or in Ocean blue or denim small flo satchel. Possibly a Dillan red smaller city.... Do you have any of those?
