jmarie374 @pattyjune8 OK -- I measured from one armpit to the other w/ the garment lying flat & it is 20inches across(circumference = 40in). I also measured at the empire waist where the tie is & got 20in there as well. Hope this helps & do let me know if u need more info...;) TY!!
