river_rider I'm unclear on the size. The tag reads 38G. Does the band run large? Does it fit like a 40F (sister size)?

n3tt33 @river_rider yes, I think it will. The one you just purchased from me was 40 DDD - which is this one’s sister size. So they are equivalent. 🙂

n3tt33 @river_rider yeah it gets a little confusing for me with sister sizes. I think they say something like the difference in band size is made up by the volume of the cups..

n3tt33 @river_rider I just looked it up and I found this “sister sizes are alternative sizes in which cup volume, or capacity, stays the same while the band size and cup letter changes”. I always have to reference to sister size charts when I’m shopping or posting bras.

river_rider @n3tt33 it's simply a way to change band sizes without changing the volume of the cups. I bought a Fayreform bra in a 40F that was too tight (the band ran small). I was able to sister size to a 42E so the band was comfortable and the cups still fit.
