SPARKLY IVORY WEDDING DRESS, FITTED W/ DETACHABLE SKIRT + VEIL

MARTIN THORNBURG MT1407 DRESS AND MT1407VEIL VEIL. Originally $2500 for the dress, $600 for the veil, and $1200 in alterations. This was the dress of my dreams! The photos don’t do it justice. It’s fitted, has a detachable skirt, and a cathedral length veil. It’s much more sparkly than you can see here (I can send you videos of the sparkle!), and the corset is see-through with horizontal lace which is so flattering. It was very comfortable, and being able to remove my skirt for the dancing part of the reception made it perfect because I didn’t have to worry about a big or long dress while dancing. All of the versions of the dress are here. First set of photos are from online, the rest are of me at my wedding. You can see an example of the base dress, dress with skirt, and dress with skirt and veil all layered. The alterations include the following: - hemmed to add 1.5 inches to my height. I am 5’4” - I have a big boobs, a small waist, and a big butt/hips. I’m a street size 6, this was a dress size 12 and taken in at the waist and hips, and built up a tiny bit at the boobs so I didn’t have spillage. - added boning to the boob area so I didn’t need to wear a bra - added bustle to dress base - added bustle to detachable skirt - instead of letting the straps lay on my arms, they were raised to sit at the very tip of my shoulders. This was again so I could get away with no bra (if you have big boobs you understand 😂)
