ssteven4 @shannonjkhan Yes. It has a tempered glass lid with steam vent. I'm also about to list another multifunctional black rice cooker (new), that has a different looking style. Check my page. 😊

lucinda_1 @aneveningaffair ALL rice cookers must allow steam to escape, hence, all rice cookers have holes in the lid. 🙂

aneveningaffair @lucinda_1 I actually always purchase mine that are Japanese made, and they never have holes in them. The one I’ve had for several years stopped working. I found another Japanese rice maker with no hole. Thank you 🙏🏼
