STERLING SILVER HOBE VINTAGE COLLECTABLE BRACELET

1940’s Sterling Silver bracelet marked HOBE. The detail in this bracelet is astonishing. Weight is 26 grams. Just beautiful. I do NOT believe this clasp is original. It most certainly does not take away from the piece. 7” around William Hobe, scion of a prominent European family of goldsmiths, founded this American costume jewelry company in 1927. Hobe jewelry was very popular in theatrical circles. It was used by Florence Ziegfield to costume the showgirls in his Ziegfield Follies, and later was widely used in Hollywood productions during the 1950s. William Hobe registered more than 100 patents for jewelry designs and was an antique jewelry scholar.
